Fall Gardeners' Market

What a wonderful success the Fall Gardeners Market was today! 228 people attended the event despite the steady rain interspersed with heavy rain. There was lots of plant browsing, plant buying, plant discussions ... (well, you get the idea : ), in addition to much needed camaraderie and general cheerfulness. For a lot of attendees, this was their first experience at Meadowbrook, which was a lovely venue.

Thanks to Laura, the Volunteers, the Attendees, the Vendors and Meadowbrook for making this a very special day.

This year we will be at PHS Meadowbrook Farm in Jenkintown, PA.

We will be following PHS COVID Policy: Bring a mask to this event - although PHS is not currently requiring masks, that is subject to change based on updated CDC guidance.

Fall is one of the best times of year to plant— the soil is still warm enough to allow root systems to establish and cooler temperatures reduce your need to water. Get a head start on your fall plant-buying—and enjoy one-stop shopping-- at HPS/MAG’s annual Fall Gardeners Market. This year's Market features 16 different vendors, including sellers of succulents, native plants, fancy weeds, trees and shrubs, and tons of unique specimens you won’t find elsewhere.

Please bring checks and/or cash as not all vendors accept Credit Cards.

Additionally, PHS Meadowbrook Farm plant shop will be open for business and restroom facilities.

HPS/MAG will offer special pricing on nitrile Gardening Gloves.

At our Membership Booth, nonmembers are invited to chat about HPS/MAG with longtime members, and visitors may join or renew their membership.

Savvy shoppers bring baskets or a wagon to carry their purchases, and volunteers are on hand to direct parking and load cars. A plant park is available to corral your purchases while you continue to shop.

There are terrific volunteer opportunities for this event. Please click here to sign up or contact Laura Axel directly at [email protected]
