Visit HPS/MAG 2020 Grant Recipient Newlin Grist Mill Park

Join us for a Members Only visit to 2020 Grant recipient, Newlin Grist Mill Park in Glen Mills, PA. September 25th from 10:30 am to ~ 12:00 pm, or come early to join the 8:00 am bird walk. Rain Date September 26th from 10:30 am to ~ 12:00 pm

Meet the Newlin Grist Mill Naturalist in the Visitor Center between 10:30am and 12pm for an Open House at the Pollinator Garden, planted with the support of HPS grant funding.  The Park Naturalist will be on hand to discuss the plants that were chosen and why they were selected, give us a nice history about the garden and grist mill and share how the space is used for both for education and conservation. We will have plenty of time for questions.

 Of Special Interest:

• Come early on the 25^th to join the free monthly bird walk lead by the park naturalist and Wild Birds Unlimited-Concordville.  Meet in front of the Visitor Center at 8:00 am.  A limited number of binoculars are available for use, but participants are encouraged to bring their own if they have them.

• We are invited to bring and enjoy a picnic and explore the hiking trails in the 160-acre park after our planned activities. Bring sturdy walking shoes as the trails are not paved.

HPS/MAG COVID-19 PRACTICES AND POLICIES: All HPS/MAG In-Person Events are subject to current CDC COVID-19 guidelines (vaccinated people may need masks indoors) and garden host preferences (A mask may still be required on their property). Please bring a mask for every In-Person Event.

Additionally, every non-vaccinated attendee must sign a Coronavirus Waiver prior to attending any In-Person Event. Click here for the waiver. If possible, please download a copy of the waiver, sign it and bring it with you to the event. The event coordinator will have extra copies available for registrants that need them. The waiver will be collected at the event.
