HPS/MAG Trip to Cape Cod & Nantucket

Tuesday, July 7, 2026 to Monday, July 13, 2026

Join us as we explore the beautiful hydrangeas of Cape Cod in July. We will visit private gardens around Cape Cod, attend a hydrangea symposium, spend a day on Nantucket Island, and shop at three nurseries! What more could a gardener want? 

Itinerary (subject to change)

Tuesday, July 7th:
Depart from West Chester, PA to travel to our hotel in Cape Cod, MA – the Hyannis Harbor Hotel (5 nights). On our way to Hyannis we will make a stop at the Highfield Hall and Gardens in Falmouth, MA

Tuesday, July 7th hru Saturday, July 11th: 
Visit private gardens around the Hyannis area including Mal Condon’s beautiful hydrangea garden and C.L. Fornari’s garden. C.L. Fornari is a local garden speaker and has a weekly garden show on the radio in Cape Cod. Visits to several other beautiful gardens will complete our time on Cape Cod.  A morning talk at Hyannis Country Gardens called "Hydrangea Happiness" lead by C.L. Fornari has been created just for us.  A tour at the Heritage Museums & Gardens including their trial gardens has been arranged.

Saturday, July 11th:
Take the ferry to Nantucket
Lunch at the Nantucket Inn
Free time to explore the shops, visit the Whale Museum, walk by the mansions on the island
Last ferry back to Hyannis
 

Sunday, July 12th:
Visit two nurseries outside Hyannis- Soares Flower Garden Nursery and Hyannis Country Garden.
Travel to our hotel in Hartford, CT – the Doubletree by Hilton Hartford Downtown (1 night) 

Monday, July 13th:
Depart for home
Stop and shop at O’Brien Nursery – known for a large variety of hostas
 
The cost of this trip is $2075.00 double occupancy; $3100.00 single occupancy.
 
Cost of the trip covers
·       Round trip transportation via motor coach
·       6 nights hotel accommodations
·       Meals: all breakfasts; all lunches except for Tuesday
·       All admission fees
·       Hyannis-Nantucket Ferry RT fare
·       Nantucket Island Tour
·       Bus driver’s driver’s gratuity and miscellaneous expenses
