Chanticleer Tour with a Focus on the Gravel Garden
Explore Chanticleer's Gravel Garden with Horticulturist Lisa Roper and discover how tough, resilient plants create an enchanting, water-wise landscape that defies the region's typical gardening approach. The visit includes a guided tour through other distinctive garden areas with one of Chanticleer's expert guides for an intimate, educational experience tailored to deepen your understanding of innovative gardening.

Chanticleer, a 35-acre pleasure garden, has been called the most romantic, imaginative, and exciting public garden in America. The garden is a study of colors, textures and forms, where foliage trumps flowers, the gardeners lead the design, and even the drinking fountains are sculptural. It is a garden of pleasure and learning, relaxing yet filled with ideas to take home.
