Many gardeners are familiar with David Culp’s wonderful books, and many have even visited his gardens at Brandywine Cottage in the past. HPS last visited in the spring of 2022. Whether you have or haven’t experienced this idyllic garden, you’ll want to jump at this chance to join a guided autumn tour with David through his Brandywine Cottage gardens.

David has long held the belief that gardens are as beautiful in the autumn as the spring. As the days grow cooler, the autumn colors will be in their glory. Asters, toad lilies and the autumn bounty of the vegetable garden, as well as the autumn blooming snowdrops and crocuses, are all in their glory. David has lovingly created a layered garden paradise at Brandywine Cottage over 30 years and will share his passion for plants and the art of layering plantings for a rich display. Open to members and nonmembers. Registration is required. Cost is $20 for members; $30 for nonmembers. Maximum number of attendees is 30.
