Join us for a 90-minute demonstration on the basics of planting stunning early summer containers for your garden. Demonstrated by Jeanne McMindes, a horticulturist with over 20 years of experience, the session will address topics such as:

• Merits of container gardening
• Considerations prior to planting (e.g., site conditions, personal preferences, budget, etc.)
• Ideal pots and vessels
• Planting media and additives
• Suggested annuals, perennials, and woodies for your container, plus beautiful proven combinations
• Tips on how to estimate costs
• Best practices for maintaining gorgeous containers throughout the season
• Resources such as books, websites, social media sites, etc.

There will be ample time for questions during and after the session.
