As June fades into July, much of spring’s frenzied gardening is done and the days are getting warmer. We’re ready to relax and enjoy the beauty that continually unfolds around us in our own little piece of paradise. It’s also a perfect time to visit the garden of fellow HPS members and be inspired by the paradise they have created.

Join us for a visit to Rena and Sam Barnett's beautiful garden paradise in Media. Their 1904 home is surrounded by a variety of specimen trees and an established landscape with multiple garden beds that flow down the sloping one-acre yard. Central to the design of the garden is a large water feature that includes several small ponds, planted bogs, and a small, meandering stream. The bubbling sound of waterfalls adds to the peaceful serenity of this lush garden where every view is a delight.

This is a member’s only event. Registration is required. $5 per attendee. Maximum number of guests is 15.
